We’re excited to share some information about three new professionals who recently join our team. Nitish Bhardwaj and Jenna Hoggan joined the firm as architectural designers, and Ami Sherwood joined the team as a project management coordinator.
Nitish is responsible for working with clients, consultants and other Mosaic team members to develop and document design solutions, verifying existing building conditions and aiding in construction administrative support. One of his current projects is the Shenendehowa CSD Early Learning Center. Prior to joining Mosaic, he worked as a clerical aide for the Town of Colonie Building Department, where he maintained filing systems, processed all sign permits, and coordinated with engineering and PEDD about sign specs, locations, and reviews for easements.
Nitish is a graduate of Sage College of Albany and holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts in interior design. He lives in Albany.
As an architectural designer, Jenna is working on a project for Schoharie Central School District, where she is responsible for assisting the project team through all phases of design and documentation. Previously, she worked as an architect at DRPilla Consulting Engineers, where she was responsible for creating 3D models of existing buildings and rendering them to match existing finishes and exterior conditions, designing renovations and new construction projects from schematic design to design development and inspecting in-progress construction sites for compliance with architectural drawings.
Jenna is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. She also holds a minor in civil engineering and studio arts. She lives in Troy.
Ami works closely with project managers in the construction documentation, bidding, and construction administration phases of our projects. Her responsibilities include organizing project and construction administration documents on our FTP site, generating AIA documents, and coordinating specifications.
Before joining the Mosaic team, Ami was the executive assistant/personal assistant to the CEO of Anderson Financial Group at Northwestern Mutual. In that position, she was responsible for managing the CEO’s calendar; coordinating with insurance and investment departments; and managing accounts payable.
Ami served for 17 years in the Army National Guard. She served in Tennessee and New York. She deployed as a team leader during Operation Iraqi Freedom and as a squad leader during Operation Enduring Freedom, both in the capacity of a Military Police NCO. She also served in other capacities, including Marketing Specialist and Recruiting and Retention NCO. Ami lives in Colonie.
