We’re excited to share some information about three new professionals who recently join our team. Richard Senior joined us as a Team Captain; Ryan Keech and Zoe Nye joined the firm as architectural designers; and Marcus Altarac joined the team as a construction administrative representative.
Richard is acting as team captain for the Shenendehowa Central School District Early Learning Center, where he is responsible for developing architectural models and drawing sets using Revit through design and workflow management. Previously, he worked as a senior architectural sales manager of mass timber at WholeTrees Structures, where he was responsible for reviewing and evaluating over $50 million in projects for the sales team, overseeing estimates for the national sales team, and helping to vet and create standard operating procedures for customer relationship management software.
Richard is a graduate of the State University of Buffalo with a bachelor of arts in architecture. He lives in Hudson Falls.
Ryan is responsible for creating drafts, 3D models, and fieldwork. He is currently involved in multiple projects for the Peekskill School District, as well as some new initiatives for Hudson Valley Community College. Before joining the Mosaic team, he was an architectural designer at BBS Architects Landscape Architects and Engineers. In that position, he was responsible for designing and modeling educational facilities, working with Revit and other building information modeling software to create both rendered models for clients, working sets of drawings and creating photorealistic renderings of designs.
Ryan is a graduate of Norwich University and holds a bachelor of science in architecture. He lives in Cohoes.
Zoe is also working on the Shenendehowa Early Learning Center where she is responsible for assisting her team in creating a cohesive design and drawing set. Prior to joining Mosaic, she was the project coordinator for ECOHouse Architecture, where she was responsible for working on residential projects throughout all phases of design and collaborating with consultants and clients on projects. She is also the creator and owner of Zoe Ink, where she creates content for social media and operates all aspects of the business.
Zoe is a graduate of the University of Buffalo and holds both a bachelor of science in architecture and a masters of architecture. She lives in Troy.
Marcus is responsible for coordinating among the project owner, contractors, and design team to ensure adherence to contract documents and to relay in-field conditions to the team throughout construction. He is currently working on projects for the Enlarged City School District of Troy at PS12, PS14, and Troy High School and for the Voorheesville Central School District at the Clayton A. Bouton High School and Voorheesville Elementary School. Prior to joining Mosaic, he worked as site superintendent for a military contractor working on various projects including the construction of SCIF facilities, test hangers, and ultra-high speed deluge systems for high energy research and development laboratories.
Marcus worked in management in his early career and has a strong background in construction, including operating heavy equipment, roofing, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and project supervisor. He lives in Ballston Lake.
