Cairo-Durham CSD Community Supports $28.9 million Capital Project

Establishing a single entry to both the Middle School/High School, along with a single main office for both schools, will improve security and efficiency at Cairo-Durham’s Middle/High School Building.

Cairo-Durham CSD residents approved their Capital Building Project on December 11 by a vote of 284 to 263. The $28.9 million project will create 21st-century classrooms in the High School for Science, Technology, and the Arts; a new media center; community meeting rooms; and adult learning spaces. Other upgrades will enhance security, infrastructure and energy efficiency.
