Pat Hughes is Mosaic Associates’ director of marketing and business development. She joined the firm in 2018, bringing more than 25 years of marketing and communication experience with her. She is responsible for leading Mosaic’s efforts to win new business, including developing and implementing marketing plans; promoting the firm’s brand through advertising, website, and social media efforts; and developing and maintaining the firm’s relationships in the community.
Prior to joining Mosaic, Pat worked with the New York State Sheriffs’ Association for seven years as director of marketing and communication. Her experience also includes 12 years at EYP AE where she was a senior associate leading EYP’s higher education and federal markets and serving as marketing manager of the firm’s Albany office.
Pat earned a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Institute of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
An active community volunteer, Pat has supported the City Mission of Schenectady, Weekend Backpack Program, Boy Scouts of America Troop 2522, Goff Middle School Parent Teacher Organization, and Green Meadow Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization. In addition, she serves as Mosaic’s team captain for the CDPHP Workforce Challenge and leads Mosaic’s corporate fundraising efforts for CANstruction, an annual exhibit and design competition that connects architects, engineers, contractors, and students in New York’s Capital Region to imagine and create colossal structures built completely out of canned food items to bring attention to hunger issues.
An avid reader, Pat and her husband, Brian, have two grown children and a 110-pound labradoodle.
